Modular Format

The Flexi-Learn DBA includes 10 modules and a research dissertation. Each module takes 8 weeks to complete and repeats year-round—giving you the chance to join or rejoin at your convenience.

Start, Pause, Return

Life doesn’t always follow a schedule. You can pause your studies at any time and pick up the modules you missed when they’re offered again—no penalty, no pressure.

Set Your Own Pace

You can finish your DBA in as little as one year, or spread it out over 2–3 years by studying one module at a time—summer-only options included. Total flexibility, always.

Program Structure

The program includes 10 modules and a research dissertation. Students will study selected modules specialized in business administration and research. Afterwards students will move to the Research and Dissertation phase. Students will earn a Doctor in Business Administration (DBA) from International Business Academy of Switzerland upon completing the requirements.

Institutional Status
IBAS is a private institution and does not hold recognition under the Swiss Higher Education Act (HEdA). As such, it is not accredited by the Swiss federal government or any cantonal authority. For more information about Swiss accreditation standards, visit AAQ.

Program-Specific Accreditation
IBAS has achieved ACBSP accreditation for its MBA and DBA programs. The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the United States.

Ongoing Accreditation Efforts

IBAS is actively pursuing Swiss University of Applied Sciences accreditation. However, it is important to note that current or existing programs are not guaranteed to be included under any future accreditation, and such a recognition/accreditation is not guaranteed to be obtained.

To support students seeking a state-recognized qualification, IBAS has established partnerships with recognized institutions, including ATHE (Awards for Training and Higher Education) in the UK.
