Student Visa to Study in GBS Dubai
Any foreign national (excluding those from the GCC) who wants to study in the UAE must obtain a UAE Student Visa. Please note that an offer letter from GBS Dubai is required before starting the visa application process.
A student visa is one of the first documents you must obtain when studying abroad. To study at a university in Dubai, all overseas students must get a student visa. You can apply for one of three types of student visas.
- Sponsored Dubai student visa: All full-time students can be sponsored by their parents to study in Dubai. Male students, on the other hand, must be under the age of 18, whilst female students can be of any age.
- Short-term Dubai student visa: This visa permits you to stay in Dubai for 60 days, which can be extended. If you are taking a short-term course, you can apply for this visa category.
- Dubai student visa supported by an educator: Full-time students can be sponsored by their educational institution for the duration of their studies under this visa type.
