UK Study Visa New Update And Changes 2025

New regulations pertaining to UK student visas will take effect From 2nd January 2025 and include:

• Requirements for finances: Candidates must show they have enough cash on hand to pay for tuition and living expenses for a maximum of nine months:

1. 1. Living Cost: The monthly cost of living now required to be shown will be £1,483*9 = £13347  in London and £1,136*9 = £10224 outside of it.
   2. Proof of funds: Candidates must demonstrate their financial stability for a minimum of 28 days in a row, concluding no later than 31 days from the application date.
   3. Additional Funds: Extra money is required of applicants for each member of their family they bring.
   4. Financial sponsorship and student loans: Applicants must present proof of any financial sponsorship or student loans.
