The idea is being introduced as a component of ‘Classes Internationales’ which guarantees a ‘portal to France’. The ‘Classes Internationales’ is an educational platform designed specifically for Indian students to acquire proficiency in the French language prior to commencing their preferred academic program in France.

According to the official website, students in Classes Internationales will attend a school for a period ranging from one semester to a full academic year. The concept of Classes Internationales was inaugurated with a primary emphasis on inclusiveness. The program is accessible to all Indian students, with the sole requirement being academic proficiency. This curriculum aims to enhance students’ understanding of French culture. Outstanding students will be awarded scholarships by the Embassy of France in India to support their pursuit of further education in France. India is the main beneficiary of French scholarships.
